Trusting a shop with a car problem you can't diagnose yourself is stressful, and it's hard to know whether the service being recommended is what you actually need. I can say with complete confidence that Roland is a gem: the work he performed was exactly what was needed, it totally solved the problem, and at no point did I feel upsold. I visited his shop on a referral from another local shop (shout out RNS), and I could not be more impressed. He was the only shop (out of four) to actually put my car on the rack and showed me the problem, so when it came time to decide the course of action, I had all the knowledge. He ordered the part, kept in contact with me on when it arrived, was flexible about scheduling, and worked to get the repair done while I waited since I don't have another car. When he started the repair, it turned out to need more than we originally thought (and he was clear up front this might be the case). He was more than generous to complete the second repair for a very affordable price, all the while showing me exactly what the issue was. This is the kind of honesty in auto repair you only dream of. Roland is a remarkable human being.

Got a custom exhaust done on my 2022 Lexus RX350L by Roland and his team. When I first came in, they were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me clearly, including sound goals and fitment. Awesome work, highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for quality exhaust work.

Roland helped me with my muffler issue and gave amazing service. He was very honest, friendly, and took the time to greet me and explain the work he would be doing on my vehicle. He also shared a few stories about the business, which helped me understand more about what he does and the quality of work he provides. I 100% recommend this place. It is worth the drive, and I promise you will not be disappointed with the service, honesty, and quality of work. Please note that this location is not affiliated with the Kalihi location or the University location.

Exhaust System Hawaii (Kailua) is very responsive, professional, and efficient. Hard to find these days but this is an old fashion, honest shop, won't charge you for something you don't need or upsell in anyway. I called a little after they opened to explain my situation on a potential exhaust leak w/ smell in the cabin. Roland was able to schedule me for an 11:00am inspection, same day (during Christmas week, WOW). No wait time when I got there. He was very knowledgeable and showed me my exhaust system underneath the car while searching for the leak. I appreciate his patience and explanation. Would return here for future work.

Coming to this shop was a great experience. I sell luxury vehicles for a living and we are always very keen on the customer experience being great, and the business will come. Prior to coming in, I looked up the reviews and was surprised to see lots of good stuff. When I called, Roland picked up and scheduled an appointment with me to bring in my 2007 Trailblazer SS. Once I got there (Which I was 20 mins early because I thought it would be a longer drive) I was greeted and asked if I had the appointment. Once he was all ready for me (Which was about 5-10 mins before my appointment, so great job on that), he brought me in and went over the basics that most shops wouldn't. He showed me a graph with the volume levels shown of the mufflers he carries, and made sure I understand that a "Good sounding" exhaust is opinionated and explained to me how to make the most informed decision prior to choosing. Roland then brought me under my Trailblazer, as it was on the lift and marked what he would be doing and gave me options on how I wanted it done. While the guys were doing the installation, I had a few conversations with Roland. One of the things we discussed was that companies th
